Photographic anodized aluminum for the best in durable imaging
Turnkey production systems at affordable prices
Used around the world
Metalphoto® anodized aluminum nameplates and panels are the industry standard for durable signs and nameplates with photographic quality. Metalphoto® combines outstanding durability with a high-quality appearance that will last for years in a range of challenging environments, including high and low temperatures, direct sunlight, abrasion, salt spray and most chemicals.
For over 40 years, Metalphoto® has been widely used in applications that require extended exposure to weather, salt water and abrasion. You will find Metalphoto® parts on train cars, airplane brakes, navy ships, precision machinery, and the International Space Station.
You'll also find informational signs and outdoor advertising made with Metalphoto in cities all over the world. Metalphoto is the choice when you need a sign or nameplate to look good -- and to last.
Metalphoto® gets its durability from the fact its unique process imbeds the image within a sapphire hard anodized layer.
Easy to Produce
Metalphoto is easy to produce and requires only a minimal investment in equipment to get started. A Metalphoto lab requires 1-2 people to run and can produce up to 20 meters of finished plates per hour.
A Markit laboratory for Metalphoto production can be installed in one day if the proper laboratory conditions are provided and training, which Markit provides, takes two days. Markit provides ongoing technical consultation after the sale.
If you can see it, you can make it
Because Metalphoto provides photographic resolution, just about any image you can photograph, create in a standard graphics program, draw or otherwise create in two dimensions can be reproduced using Metalphoto.
With Metalphoto you also have the option of colored backgrounds, multi-color images including logos and other graphics, and a range of metal sizes and finishes to suit your needs - from mirror-quality metal to satin to matte finishes in a range of thicknesses.
